This Center of Excellence – Aerospace/Aviation Research will Help students to bridge the gap between academics and requirements.

            Centre of excellence is a shared facility that provides leadership, best practices, research support for all focused area. The Centre of excellence brings together varied skills and practices to create a new aspect in research. Also the Centre of Excellence will pave way for the students to earn a chance to explore a new concept of research and development in different areas. It will work in all dimensions and provide complete support in improving student’s capabilities and knowledge. It can be utilized by students, staffs and professionals from any engineering department. This will be a great opportunity for the students to enhance their technical skills in their interested area.

             The center of excellence activities is incorporated by eminent research persons and distinguished research scholars from various research areas. This in turn will associate the gap between the global requirement and academic standard.

 

Objectives

1. The Center of Excellence will be active throughout the year. Through this we would like to incorporate Research Activities & improve the skillset of engineering       

    students in Research and Development and help them employable. 

2. Through COE activities the students will gain ability to bridge the gap between academics and industrial requirements in Aerospace & Aviation sector. 

3. Through Center of Excellence the students can avail all the facilities like Placement opportunities, On Job Trainings, Technical Research activities, Courses, Journal      Publish , Research Internships/Inplant Training, Research Project, Research Funding, Project Outsorcing, Guidance for academic and research projects.

• Drones, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV), 

• Unmanned Systems, Unmanned Air Systems (UAS).

• Underwater Vehicles, Sub marine Vehicles, 

• Sounding Rocket and Cruise Missiles. 

• UAV Propelling Units, Surface Vehicles, 

• Ground Vehicles, Solar Sail, Space Vehicles, Satellite. 

• Sensor Integration, Advanced control Techniques, 

• Autopilot and Navigation systems, Ground Control Systems. 

• Remote Sensing, Advanced Sensors, Photogrammetry, 

• UAV/MAV in Industrial applications, Etc..

Note: All these above mentioned facilities can be availed inside the college campus and in our Research Division. 

 

Requirements:

• Research Centre Lab with Admin cabin

• Tables, Chairs, cupboard as per requirement

• Computer with Internet access and Printer

• Audio / Video Systems

• Staff Co-ordinator

• Students Volunteers

Terms & Conditions:

• MOU will be signed between two parties.

• It will work independently and answerable only to HOD’s and above authorities.

• Management has the complete power to wind up the Centre of Excellence, if found working against the vision and mission of college management.

• We are expecting support from the institute to expand the Centre of Excellence facilities and Equipment.

• Students from all departments can avail the facility of Centre of Excellence.

• Good Accommodation and food for the concerned staff / Higher Officials in Centre of Excellence.

• We will be working under the guideline of distinguished scientists and eminent researchers
